A collaboration between Headzic (music) and the fabulous Shelley Aspden (writing and voice) from Ministry of Yoga.
1) Allow yourself to be guided through a systematic relaxation of the physical body. Explore the way the body moves with the breath, and how changing the way we breathe can affect the autonomic nervous system. As we change the way we breathe, notice how the body and the mind responds as we move from tension into softness. All techniques were developed through trainings with The Minded Institute and Breath-Body-Mind.
2) Allow yourself to be comfortable in any position (seated / lying down) to release into stillness. All you have to do is follow Shelley's voice, and John's sounds to take you into true relaxation. Try not to force your breathing, its more about allowing the breath to move with the cues.
3) The final aspect of the tracks move into an equal length of inhale to equal length of exhale - 'Coherent / Resonant Breathing'. We have 2 lengths of inhale and exhale for you to explore, When we are stressed and anxious some people are unable to comfortably hold an inhale of 6 seconds and an exhale of 6 seconds. Therefore we have created a 5 second coherent / resonant breathing track. The beginning of the track can help the most anxious / stressed individual to create space within the breath, body and mind to reach 5 seconds.
