The Beauty of Collaboration

I am really lucky!  As a musician, being married to a partner who has an added dimension to bring to my work is amazing.  June, my wife is a talented artist and apart from her own journey with fine art, she has a knack of interpreting the music I produce in a visual medium.

People who know my work have often commented on the album covers, most of which are produced by June.  She listens to the music then disappears to her studio.  A few hours later she appears with a completed work which we then turn into the whole, or part, of the cover design.

​`Flow` was the first and will always have a place in my heart.

​She works in a range of media and techniques.  From flowing alcohol inks to layers of paper collage.  Each one enhances the feel of the album.  

It is a regret that the old concept of vinyl album art has all but disappeared.  Who remenbers getting the poster with the album, sliding it out before the record!
